In this page, we’ve put together a list of our recommended and most favourite, quality chicken coops and runs for various flock sizes.

Omlet Cube Coop

The Omlet Cube Chicken Coop is quickly becoming the most popular chicken coop worldwide and it’s easy to see why.

Eglu Chicken Coops

Eglu Classic Coop

The Omlet Eglu coop is the original Omlet Coop which was designed for chicken keepers who want to keep 2-4 medium-sized birds in a garden or back yard.

The Eglu classic coop is perfect as a starter coop or for those with only a few birds or not much space.

The standard features of the Omlet Classic Coop include:

  • Easy to clean plastic coop which is easier to keep mite free when compared with a wooden chicken house.

Eglu Classic Chicken Coop

Eglu Go Chicken Coop

The Eglu Go Coop has all of the features of the classic version and makes a perfect starter coop for a small flock of around 2-4 medium-sized birds.

Just like the Cube and the Classic Eglu, the Eglu Go Coop is available with or without a fox-proof run.

The difference with the Eglu Go is that it’s compatible with optional extras, including a frame and ladder, wheel set and raised 2m run.

This converts the Eglu Go to a raised coop and provides the additional benefits of extra space and shelter beneath the coop along and makes the coop more accessible for cleaning and egg collection.

The addition of a wheel set also makes the coop easier to move to save the ground beneath (see image below).

Moveable Wooden Chicken Coop

If you’re not a big fan of plastic coops and prefer a wooden version then there are plenty to choose from depending on the size of your flock.

For flocks of up to 6 medium-sized chickens, we recommend the Boughton chicken coop which is moveable and easy to access.

Boughton Wooden Chicken Coop

Large Wooden Chicken Coop

If you’re looking for a high-quality wooden chicken coop which is built to last and can house up to a maximum of 10-12 chickens then we recommend the Lenham coop.
